MBC Group assisted Google with the expansion of its campus in Pyrmont’s waterfront on the CBD fringe. This was the second major development Google have engaged MBC Group to facilitate and it came with plenty of challenges. The building was completely overhauled and repurposed as it became part of the Google portfolio.

New interconnecting stairs to facilitate collaborative engaged environments between all levels was provided with bespoke performance solutions utilised. The ground floor accommodates a Google function facility that necessitated a complex change of building use.

Areas of the building were required to be densely occupied, which required creative thinking to ensure compliance while upholding the outcome sought by Google, which was successfully achieved and is now being applied in other areas of the Google campus.

As a result of the success of this development, MBC Group have successfully been appointed to Google’s first new building development within the APAC region, Google Revy.
