MBC Group assisted CBRE with the expansion of a global IT company's campus in Pyrmont’s waterfront at 1 Darling Island or ODI. This was the second major development that the tech giant has engaged MBC Group to facilitate, and it came with plenty of challenges. The building was completely overhauled and repurposed as it became part of the company's global portfolio.

New interconnecting stairs to facilitate collaborative engaged environments between all levels was provided with bespoke performance solutions utilised. The ground floor accommodates a function facility that necessitated a complex change of building use.

Areas of the building were required to be densely occupied, which required creative thinking to ensure compliance while upholding the outcome sought by the client, which was successfully achieved and is now being applied in other areas of the IT campus.

As a result of the success of this development, MBC Group have successfully been appointed to the IT leader's first new building development within the APAC region at the REVY.
