Value
Hume Community Housing, in collaboration with Homes NSW and Housing Australia, is delivering a cluster of three residential buildings in North Parramatta. These developments will provide 66 new dwellings designed to support older women at risk, key workers, low-income earners, and vulnerable families. Each site offers high-quality, accessible housing in proximity to transport, services, and employment. The sites are located at 18–20 Irving Street, 8–10 Collett Parade and 153–155 Pennant Drive.
MBC Group was appointed as the Accredited/Principal Certifier for all three sites, tasked with ensuring full compliance with the NCC, and relevant accessibility and safety standards.
Strategic & social impact
- tenure mix: 40% social, 40% affordable, 20% key worker

- Public-Private Partnership: delivered by Hume with funding from Homes NSW and the National Housing Infrastructure Facility
- design quality: all developments incorporate universal design, community landscaping, and enhanced CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principles
