Value
The Forest High School relocation project will deliver a contemporary learning environment designed to accommodate up to 1,500 students on a new 4.5-hectare site at Allambie Heights. The development comprises seven interconnected buildings (Blocks A–G) housing administration, learning areas, science laboratories, performance spaces, and sports facilities.
As the Crown Certifier, MBC Group are responsible for:
- Assessment and determination of Crown building applications for construction certificates, occupation certificates, and compliance certificates
- BCA and legislative compliance review across multiple building classes, including education, assembly, and ancillary facilities
- Coordination with Fire Safety Engineers to manage performance-based solutions
- Stakeholder liaison with SINSW, project consultants, and ADCO to ensure statutory milestones are achieved with minimal delay
- Site inspections and progressive compliance verification through construction and commissioning phases
Through proactive engagement and detailed technical review, we ensure that design intent and regulatory compliance are aligned from early documentation through to late-stage construction. The project exemplifies how MBC Group’s clear, consistent, and contactable approach supports large-scale education infrastructure outcomes under the Crown certification framework.
