The project incorporates two new multi-purpose buildings and a refurb for Buildings A, D and G to provide right fit, right sized and connected facilities for TAFE NSW Kingscliff. The aim is to capitalise on Kingscliff TAFE’s position as a premium metropolitan satellite campus by responding to the current and future training needs in health & aged care, early childhood education, education support, community services, creative industries, horticulture, hospitality and tourism. Phase one of the TAFE NSW Kingscliff investment will see an $8.8 million investment to deliver a refurbishment of several buildings, including health and community services. This will allow health students to complete hands-on training in a simulated hospital environment. The next investment will deliver a $25 million multi-purpose building to provide students with the skills needed to support local industries.

The full scope of works includes:

• new multipurpose building
• new community services building
• buildings A, D and G refurbishment
• new car park with a minimum 125 spaces
• entire campus accessibility upgrades
• campus vehicle access control
• campus network and technology design and upgrades
• campus storage capabilities

MBC Group are providing a full suite of services for this Crown Development, covering the concept design package (preliminary assessment and reporting), early works package (regulatory checklists and Crown Approval), detailed design assessment, advice during tendering and construction phase services including completion certificates.
