The project was initiated to deliver industry standard training facilities and support to provide vocational curriculum pathways and options. It is part of the Vocational Schools Initiative pilot program to provide courses that will allow students to receive industry level training on-site and develop the skills required to pursue careers in community & health services, construction (electrotechnology and plumbing) and supply chain (transport, logistics and warehousing). The upgrade of Seven Hills High School will provide new specialist vocational education and training (VET) centre that will provide students with the skills, support and access to trades and vocational pathways to enter industry and construction.

MBC Group was selected as Principal Certifier to provide certification services covering the development and construction of the following;

- staff room & kitchenette
- cleaners store
- amenities
